In collaboration with Tennis Australia, the Australian Junior Tour has been rebranded the de Minaur Junior Tour, reflecting Alex’s commitment to the next generation of Australian talent. As part of this, a scholarship program has been designed to support high-achieving juniors, ensuring they have the resources and mentorship needed to excel.
The winners of the de Minaur Junior Tour Finals will automatically take home the de Minaur Junior Tour Scholarship. There are two winners in each age group – one boy and one girl from the 12/u and 14/u age group.
Two additional athletes will also be given a scholarship to the Foundation, named the Alex de Minaur Spirit of Tennis Scholarship. This is awarded to the players who display key values and behaviours throughout the tournament.
Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to train with Alex and his team in Europe before competing in a four-week European tour, allowing them to compete against Europe’s best players in the 12/u and 14/u levels.
Alex will mentor the athletes with regular check ins across 12-months, supporting their development, training and competition planning.
They will also have the opportunity to meet Alex and ask him questions during the summer of tennis events.
