Alex was born in Sydney, New South Wales, on 17 February 1999. He is currently Australia’s number one male tennis player, best known for his dynamic movement on the court and his compassion off the court.
After a successful junior career, Alex turned pro in 2015 and entered the top-10 for the first time in his hometown at Ken Rosewall Arena in January 2024. Later that year, he reached his career-high ranking of world No.6.
